2010 Program

During 2010, Climate Alliance will be running Round Table Forums, Quarterly Seminars and a National Conference.

UPCOMING:

7th October 2010 - Climate Alliance National Conference

In the afternoon of the 7th October, 2010 Climate Alliance will host a National Conference for company directors and senior executives. The conference will be held at Karstens Conference Centre in Queen Street, Melbourne. The theme of the conference is  “Climate Change – the Upside of Action”.

The program includes a number of presentations, a Panel discussion, announcement of the Business Leadership Awards and drinks & networking to conclude the afternoon.

National Conference

Invitation to attend our National Conference. Members will have the opportunity to present their stories and to listen to experts in the field address issues that are of specific interest to the Director community. Sponsors will offer special awards to individuals that have made notable contributions to the field.
 

Seminar Series

Attendance to quarterly Seminars where experts address specific subjects relevant to Directors planning to respond to the challenges of climate change. The subjects include: opportunities for diversification into new products or services; identification of programs to improve energy efficiency; meeting regulatory compliance requirements and developing effective strategies to address the raft of new legislation coming into force.
   

Round Table Forums

Climate Alliance will organise Round Table Forums between companies that have taken early action and companies that are considering such action. Through a facilitated process, the Round Table Forums will give Directors and executives from different industries the opportunity to learn from each other. There will also be opportunity to engage in conversations in forums where environmental professionals and business executives are available to discuss matters of mutual concern.
   

Climate Alliance Newsletter

Members and Affliates can elect to receive a regular Newsletter that details the work of Climate Alliance and highlights important forthcoming events. The Newsletter also contains success stories and links to useful information on activities overseas.
   

Access to information

Members will have exclusive access to a Members Only Area on the Climate Alliance Web Site where specific attention will be given to success stories where new markets are created or competitiveness is improved. This information will be written specifically with Directors in mind.
